Students who are learning their instruments through ABRSM syllabus are required to pass Grade 5 theory before taking Grade 6 above instrumental exams.

I provide a high standard course in all theory lessons to ensure that all students are prepared to take their Grade 5 exams, even without having any separate theory lessons before. If you are interested in learning theory and musicology at your own pace, I offer a wide range of technical and theoretical lessons which ranges from theory, studying scores and composers through all different eras.

As a composer myself I have composed various pieces of music ranging from string quartets, to a brass quintet, piano and orchestral scores.

I am more than happy to advise students with the technical aspects of composition. Composition is for you to let your creative mind be free and show your unique style, whether that be inspiration from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic.
